Hamish is pretty sick at the moment. He has Campylobacter. Campylobacter is a common disease in New Zealand and is an acute bowel infection that is caused by bacteria of the Campylobacter group multiplying in the small intestine. It’s main source -raw or undercooked poultry or meat, especially barbecued or fried chicken He ate some very undercooked BBQ chicken on Friday night. And before you ask- as one very unsympathetic person did 'Why did he eat it?' He took a bite and swallowed before he looked at what he ate. So BE CAREFUL when cooking and eating BBQ chicken children. Reports of my demise have been grossly over reported. In fact tomorrow I think that I might mow the lawn!!
I will see how far two pieces of toast, two bowls of porridge, a cup of soup, half a packet of ready salted chips (the best food poisoning food by my hearing of eye witness accounts) and a gigillion litres of diluted raro in 4 days will get me.

uggh campylobacter. its not very nice at all. i got it after YBC last year...i'm sure it was from that dodgy as water they got from the local creek and not from the food coz it was cooked pretty well from what i remember.
