Was home sick yesterday and got in just in time to catch the last 10 mins of Doctor Phil. George and Laura Bush were being interviewed on their thoughts on parenting. President Bush said 'you're making a great contribution to the country that you love by focusing your love, attention and time on your child'. What a great thing to say. Would it be great if the leaders of our country stood up and affirmed parenting as being the greatest service to our nation. Instead of telling mothers they are economic units and any old Joe/Joanne can raise their babies.
